Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the mobile application FSSS Guard Attendance & Patrol (application ID in.foursquaresecure.app), published on Google Play by KFAMI and operated by Four Square Secure Services Private Limited. It explains what the app collects, why, who it is shared with, and how to have it deleted.

Who the app is for

The app is used by security personnel deployed by Four Square Secure Services Private Limited, and by the client sites they are posted to. Guards use it to mark attendance at their posting site. Client accounts use it to view the attendance record of the guards assigned to their site. It is not a general-purpose consumer app.

Information we collect

Account information

When you register or sign in we collect your mobile number and country code, which is your login identifier, and a one-time password (OTP) sent to that number by SMS. On registration we also collect your name, and for client accounts the company name and company address.

Attendance records

When a guard marks attendance we record the date and time, the guard who marked it, and the client site it was marked at. Client accounts can see these records for the guards assigned to their site.

Device storage

An authentication token is stored on your device so you stay signed in. It is removed when you log out or delete your account.

Information the app accesses but does not collect

Precise location

When you tap Mark Attendance, the app reads your device location once to confirm you are within 100 metres of your assigned posting site. This comparison happens entirely on your device. Your coordinates are not transmitted to our servers and are not stored. Location is accessed only while the app is open and you are actively marking attendance. The app does not use background location.

Camera

The camera is used solely to scan the QR code displayed at your posting site. No photograph or video is captured, saved, or transmitted. Only the site identifier decoded from the QR code is sent, so that the attendance record is associated with the correct site.

How we use the information

• To create and authenticate your account
• To confirm you are physically present at your assigned site when marking attendance
• To maintain the attendance record for your employer and the client site
• To contact you about your account or your duty assignment

We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Sharing

We share data only where necessary to operate the service:

• SMS delivery provider. Your mobile number is shared with our SMS provider for the sole purpose of delivering your one-time password.
• Your employer and your assigned client site. Attendance records are visible to Four Square Secure Services Private Limited and to the client whose site you are assigned to.
• Where required by law, or to protect the safety and rights of users.

We do not share your data with any other third party.

Data retention and deletion

Your account and personal data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time from our account deletion page, which is also linked from inside the app under About → Delete Account.

Security

Data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections. Access to attendance data is restricted to your employer and your assigned client site.

Children

The app is intended for employed security personnel and business clients. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date at the top of this page.
